These terms apply to orders placed on uniqautos.co.uk. The site is run by UNIQREG UK LIMITED, trading as Uniq Automotive ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. About us

2. Our products
Most of our products, including number plates, printed plate holders and steering wheels, are made to order to the specification you choose. Product images are for illustration. Handmade items can vary slightly in finish, and colours can look different on different screens.
3. Road-legal number plates
By law, we can only supply road-legal number plates once we've seen proof that you're entitled to the registration: a V5C, V750 or V778, plus photo ID. We'll ask you for these after you order. Road-legal plates are made to the British Standard (BS AU 145e).
Show plates are not road legal and must not be displayed on a vehicle used on public roads. Style options such as 3D and 4D characters must meet current DVLA rules to be road legal, and it's your responsibility to use your plates lawfully.
4. Your order details
We make your items exactly as you enter them, including your registration, text, colours and options. Please check everything carefully before you order. For steering wheels, you must give us your correct vehicle details so we can confirm fitment.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we've made an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can cancel for a full refund.
6. Accepting your order
Your order is accepted when we email you to confirm it. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if we can't verify the documents needed for road-legal plates, if an item is unavailable, or if we can't make your requested item lawfully.
7. Delivery
Delivery options, costs and timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Because most of our products are made to order, only some items can be returned for a change of mind. Full details are in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Warranty
Our number plates, plate holders and steering wheels come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, as set out in our Refund Policy.
10. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, for damage caused by incorrect fitting, or for any use of show plates on public roads. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. Reviews and content
If you send us photos or reviews, you allow us to show them on our website and social media. We'll never share your registration documents or personal details publicly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
